Where do the funds go?
The CROP Hunger Walk raises funds to support hunger programs around the world through Church World Service and its sister agencies(75%) -- and here at home in Greater Indianapolis through a selected hunger program(25%): in 2019 Second Helpings will be the recipient organization.

For more than six decades, Church World Service has fought hunger and poverty through the world. A major source of funds used by CWS and its partner agencies have come from CROP (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) Hunger Walks. The Greater Indianapolis CROP Hunger Walk, with the help of thousands of volunteers of all ages and hundreds of congregations of all faiths, has raised in the past 39 years more than $3 million to fight hunger in the greater Indianapolis area and around the world. Thanks to the internet, we have many more opportunities to cast our net wider beyond our community in seeking support for the Walk.
